Who runs this place?

Heather Roberts is a licensed attorney and voracious reader who adores falling in love with a new book. She is passionate about helping clients come up with creative solutions, build their brands, expand their reach, and make them money.

In addition to 1852 Media, she also founded 1852 Literary to combine her legal and publishing knowledge and help authors reach their publishing goals.

She runs multi-six figure businesses, and has helped authors grow to their businesses to becoming six (and in some cases seven!) figures.

Heather sits on the boards of two non-profits: Green Mountain Book Festival and After Action. She also owns the company Very Vermont, that creates and engraves custom products. Heather is originally from Pennsylvania but currently lives in Vermont with her husband and ten goats.
